Magic Mouse, Magic Keyboard & Magic Trackpad

Apple has previously used its own lightning port on Mac accessories since 2015, but due to EU regulations, it has started being replaced with a USB-C port. All three Mac accessories come with USB-C ports for charging. Apple has equipped Magic Mouse with a USB-C port on the bottom so users won’t be able to use the mouse while charging. The design and functionality remain the same as before but now all Apple Mac accessories come with USB-C ports.

The universal charging port arrived on iPhones in 2023 and the AirPods lineup has received it too. Now with Apple accessories getting a USB-C port, all Apple ecosystem users can charge their devices with a single cable.
