Apple spring 2022 event might see the launch of the new iMac Pro, iPad Air, iPhone SE & more

Apple is all set to hold its annual spring event in March or April 2022 and the lineup of what might get launched has already started trickling in. The latest report by Gurman claims that Apple is planning to launch a new iMac Pro along with iPad Air and more. Let us have a look at what we can expect during the spring 2022 Apple event-

Apple is expected to launch a new iMac Pro this year. It will replace the 27-inch model with a 32-inch model that has the same form factor but bezels are thinner. Mark Gurman corroborates the leaks claiming that the company will launch the new iMac Pro with the M1 Pro/Max chipset.

The new M1 Pro chipset gives 70% faster CPU performance than M1 and up to 2x faster GPU performance. M1 Max will offer up to 4x faster GPU performance compared to M1. These new chips are expected to make their way to the iMac Pro launching this year.

A new iPad Air is also expected to be launched with a 10.9-inch OLED display. It is said to have borrowed some features from the iPad mini 6 such as Centre Stage, a 12MP ultra-wide front camera with center stage support, and more. It will have the A15 Bionic chipset.

A major update is expected for the Apple AirPods Pro this year. Apple might remove its stem and make its new wireless earbuds even more compact. The updated ones might feature motion sensors for fitness tracking and are said to get an updated version of the H1 chip with improvements in audio-related functions like active noise cancellation, better battery life, and more.
