TL; DR
  • Like the other events, Apple’s October 2025 event (if it is held at all) should be livestreamed via the company’s official YouTube channel.
  • However, an event seems likely, as the company has to unveil the M5 chip, which has historically been unveiled during an Apple event.

Last year, Apple unveiled a series of products in the last week of October, but it was via multiple press releases, rather than a single launch event. We had the iMac (M4) come out on October 29, the Mac mini (M4) on October 30, and the MacBook Pro (M4) on October 31. This year could be a similar story, with the Cupertino giant releasing multiple products in October, but it could very well take place during a launch event.

iPhone 16, Watch Series 10, And New AirPods: Here's What To Expect From Apple's Glowtime September Event

Like the other events, Apple’s October 2025 event (if it is held at all) should be livestreamed via the company’s official YouTube channel. We don’t know whether the event will include a live audience or not, and commenting on the same is a bit challenging at the moment, given the company’s rather silent releases last year.

What to Expect From Apple’s October 2025 Event?

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple could unveil the M5-powered iPad Pro models this year (the first device to be powered by the chipset). The device could be available in two sizes while retaining its exceptionally thin side profile. The Vision Pro, Apple’s flagship mixed-reality headset, could also be upgraded with the M5 chip this year.

Gurman also claims that the company will upgrade Apple TV with a faster A17 Pro chip (to support the upcoming Siri), the HomePod mini with an S9 chip or newer to support Apple Intelligence, and a new AirTag with three times tracking range as the current generation model.

Now, Apple is also expected to upgrade the MacBook Pro lineup with the M5 series of chips (likely the M5 Pro chips), but this upgrade may not occur until early next year. Last but not least, Apple could also release a new Studio Display with mini-LED backlighting.
