Asus India has launched two new laptops: the ZenBook S13 OLED and Vivobook 15. While the former is a performance-orientated lightweight laptop with an Intel Core Ultra 5 or Ultra 7 processor, the latter focuses on affordability. Both models run on Windows 11 Home and come in multiple memory and storage configurations. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Asus laptops.
Asus ZenBook S13 OLED Specifications
As the name suggests, the ZenBook S13 has a 13.3-inch 2.8K OLED screen, which features slim bezels on all four sides (with an 85 percent screen-to-body ratio). The display can reach a peak brightness of 600 nits and supports 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Further, the laptop also supports Dolby Vision for viewing high dynamic range content on streaming platforms. For a wholesome multimedia experience, the device also features Harman Kardon stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos sound.
Under the hood, the laptop runs on the Intel Core Ultra 5 125U or Ultra 7 155U processors, with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe SSD storage. The ZenBook S13 comes with integrated Intel Arc graphics. Wireless connectivity options on the laptop include dual-band Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth v5.2. Regarding ports, the S13 OLED comes with two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports (with full-range charging), one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, one HDMI 2.1 port, and one combo audio jack.
Powering the laptop is a 63Wh battery lasting up to 14 hours on a single charge. However, the effective battery life varies from user to user, depending on the usage habits. Thanks to fast charging, the battery goes from zero to 70 percent, with the provided 65W power adapter, in under 50 minutes. Other features include a 180-degree lay-flat hinge, an FHD web camera, and two-way noise cancelation via the built-in array of microphones. Last but not least, the device weighs just 1 kg, which makes it one of the largest in the segment.

In India, ZenBook S13 OLED starts at Rs. 1,29,990 for the base model with a Core Ultra 5 processor. The laptop is available via Asus Exclusive Stores, Amazon, Flipkart, and other aligned channel partners.
Asus Vivobook 15 2024 Specifications
The Vivobook 15 comes with a 15.6-inch FHD IPS screen that supports a 60Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 250 nits. Under the hood, the laptop runs on either Intel Core 5 120U or Core 3 100U processor, with up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB of SSD. Users also get Intel Arc graphics. Wireless connectivity options on the laptop include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2. For wired accessories, the device has a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, one HDMI 1.4 port, and one 3.5mm audio combo jack.
Other features of the laptop include an HD web camera with a physical shutter, a precision touchpad that supports up to four-finger smart gestures, AI noise-canceling audio for video calls, and a lifetime subscription to MS Office 2021. Another unique selling proposition of the product is its MIL-STD 810H military-grade certification. This means the product can function in harsh weather conditions, such as low pressure, high temperature, and shocks. Last but not least, it features a 42Wh battery that supports 45W fast charging.
