Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Launched With Snapdragon 636 SoC: Features, Specifications and Price in India

Flipkart and Asus India teased the Zenfone Max Pro M1 last week followed by the announcement of its launch date in India ie April 23. Today, Asus has finally taken the wraps off its first smartphone of the year 2018 in India. The all new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be Flipkart exclusive and likely to take on the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro in the budget segment.

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes in three RAM variants: 3GB/4GB/6GB. The 6GB RAM variant is the premium in the lot as it also sports better optics – 16MP+5MP sensor on the rear and a 16MP sensor on the front. It will, however, be available later.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Features

There is so much Asus is doing differently this time around. It will bat on the front foot by offering trendy full vision display, capable hardware, metallic design, stock Android and large battery. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with a 5.99-inch screen with full HD+ resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and thin bezels on the sides and edges.

As previously confirmed by Flipkart, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 rocks on Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 mobile platform. The phone comes with 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants. It packs 32GB/64GB internal storage which can be bumped up by inserting a microSD card in the given dedicated slot.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be running the stock Android 8.1 Oreo operating system, making it first Asus phone on Vanilla Android. On the optics front, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 features a dual camera setup of 13-megapixel + 5MP sensor on the back and an 8-megapixel sensor on the front panel. The phone comes with a massive 5000mAh battery which is almost 1000mAh more than the Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro. It supports 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS as connectivity options. Asus has also added a face unlock and fingerprint sensor on the device.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Price In India, Availability and Offers

The new Zenfone Max Pro M1 to retail on Flipkart from 3 May onwards. The Zenfone Max Pro M1 India price at the time of the launch announced at Rs 10,999 for 3GB RAM variant. The Zenfone Max Pro M1 4GB RAM variant to retail in India for Rs 12,999.

The Zenfone Max Pro Mi1 with 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 14,999. Asus said that this variant will be available soon but didn’t reveal the exact date.
