During the event, Season four leaks Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha talked about their experience filming the show and exclusive stills, and a sneak peek of Season four was showcased. About Bridgerton Season 4
Benedict Bridgerton, the clan’s eldest, leads season four. The character who once mooed from the corner of the ballroom is now ready to have his own love story. Benedict meets his love interest Sophie Baek, a determined and captivating lady who is a victim of tragic circumstances. They meet at Lady Bridgerton’s masquerade ball which takes place in the first episode of season four. The storyline is a bit of a twist on Cinderella this time around.
What all did Netflix announce during the Valentine’s Event?
Some new and some old faces will constitute the world of Bridgerton season four. Some new stony locations were also shown off during the event where the next chapter will unfold, including Benedict’s cozy countryside escape, My Cottage. Some exclusive images of the cast were shared and Benedict and Sophie’s masquerade outfits were also on display.
Who’s New in Bridgerton Season 4?
Just like previous seasons, there will be some new additions to the cast of season four. These include-
- Lady Araminta Gun- played by Katie Leung is a twice-married and twice-widowed lady who has two daughters debuting on the marriage mart this season and she’s feeling the pressure to get at least one of her girls married off. She doesn’t respond well when someone tries to threaten her standing in society.
- Rosamund Li- played by Michelle Mao, is beautiful, eager, and vain to pleaser her mother. Rosamund is Araminta’s eldest daughter and most prized possession. She sets her sights on Benedict this social season. And just like her mother, she is determined to get what she wants.
- Posy Li- played by Isabella Wei is Rosamund’s younger, kinder sister who is also debuting this year. She is rarely in the spotlight as her mother doesn’t pay her much attention.

Bridgerton Season 4: Release Date & OTT Platform

Bridgerton Season 4: Leads Speak
Luke Thompson said, “What’s striking about Season 4 is that it’s the struggle between a proper old-school fairy tale, the romance of it, and the actual reality of the world. You have to hold both of them, Sophie and Benedict, the romance and the reality in your hand. In its best version, true love happens in the middle of that.”
Yerin Ha talked about her experience of working in season four. She said, “I remember Luke stood there with arms wide open, just ready for an embrace, That was the moment I was like, Ah! Ok, I don’t need to stress about these little things now. I can just genuinely focus on the on-screen connection with him.”
Bridgerton Season 4: Filming Location
Bridgerton has expanded its filming locations on one of the newly constructed back lots of Shepperton Studios outside of London. This is also where the charming photos of Thompson and Ha were taken. Locations include homes, buildings, Mayfair Street, and more in all their splendor.
