BYD Atto 3 electric SUV launched in India; Here are specs, price, and availability details

BYD has finally launched the much-awaited Atto 3 electric SUV in India. The new electric SUV is based on the brand’s ‘Dragon Face 3.0’ design philosophy to give a sleek sporty look. BYD Atto 3 is the second all-electric vehicle from the Chinese EV maker after its e6 electric MPV.

BYD Atto 3 Price and Availability

BYD Atto 3 is priced at an ex-showroom cost of Rs 33.99 lakh for its single fully-loaded model. The company opened the pre-order of Atto 3 last month and has received 1500 bookings till then. Even now, interested buyers can book their Atto 3 are BYD dealerships and the company’s official website. It arrives in four colour options – Surf Blue, Ski White, Parkour Red, and Boulder Grey. The delivery of BYD Atto 3 will start in January 2023.

BYD Atto 3 Features

Starting with the performance, BYD Atto 3 is powered by a 60.48 kWh battery source that generates 201bhp and 310Nm peak torque. The new electric SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 7.3 seconds. It is ARAI-claimed to offer a distance range of 521km per single charge. 

The BYD Atto 3 is equipped with Blade Battery technology featuring the standard EV safety measures. The battery can charge from 0% to 80% within 50 minutes.

The interior of the new BYD Atto 3 gets all the modern features and design upgrades. It sports a rotating 12.8-inch touchscreen display with the support of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It gets a centre console, dumbbell-style AC vents, grip-style door handles, a push-up electronic gear lever, a sporty steering wheel, a 31-colour ambient lighting scheme, and a panoramic sunroof. 

Designwise, BYD Atto 3 features sporty LED headlights and split LED tail lights, a closed front grille, a ripple D-pillar, and a shark fin antenna. It runs on 18-inch alloy wheels. Safety features include 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera, ABS, ESP, and hill-hold assist.
