For quite some time, rumors have indicated that CMF by Nothing is working on a new neckband and wireless earbud. Turns out, the company itself announced these devices on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Though it hasn’t unveiled all the details yet, we know what these devices are called and when they’ll come out.
New CMF By Nothing Products To Launch Alongside Phone (2a)
Recently, Nothing confirmed the launch date of the Phone (2a), i.e., March 5, 2024. The handset arrives at the Fresh Eyes event scheduled for 05:00 PM IST. Coincidently, the new CMF products are also coming out on the same day, at the same time. This could imply that Nothing will include the new neckband and wireless earbuds at the launch event. However, CMF by Nothing could also launch the products via press releases.
What We Know About The CMF Neckband Pro
CMF’s new products include the Neckband Pro and the Buds. Talking about the former, the neckband will be the first device in its category that offers 50 dB hybrid active noise cancelation. This could either mean that the product could feature different modes of ANC or an intelligent noise monitoring system that adjusts the ANC accordingly.
The teaser image for the Neckband Pro showcases some sort of a metallic knob. This could be for adjusting the ANC levels or the volume levels. It could also feature five microphones and AI noise reduction for calls.
CMF Buds Claimed To Be “Best-in-class For ANC”
The CMF Buds, on the other hand, will be the second TWS earbuds from the brand. While the company claims these will be the best-in-class for ANC, they are also said to feature 12.4mm drivers. The teaser uploaded on the official website contains a metallic circular element on the charging case. However, what it is and how it works isn’t known yet.
