Dell could refresh its XPS and Inspiron lineup with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X series processor. Information about the XPS 13 9345 and Inspiron 14 7441 Plus notebooks has surfaced online. Both laptops could feature the Snapdragon X Elite chip (instead of AMD or Intel processors).

Folks at Windows Report have leaked images of two new Dell laptops: the Dell XPS 13 9345 and Inspiron 14 7441 Plus. As seen in the photos, the upcoming laptops look similar to the one the company launched previously. First, let’s talk about the purported XPS 13.

Dell XPS 13 9345 Leaked Images And Specifications

The report states that Dell XPS 13 9345 will succeed from the XPS 13 Plus. Among the key highlights of the upcoming laptop include the AI Explorer feature, which, as per reports, will require at least 16GB of RAM to function well.

In terms of design, the XPS 13 9345 seems to have a sleek design, which carries the ultramobile nature of its predecessor. Unfortunately, the image showcases only 2 USB-C ports. The touch-sensitive function key is coming back as well.

The keyboard, as seen in the image, resembles that of its predecessor, except the Copilot key is placed beside the alt key. Apart from this, the laptop retains the iconic frameless trackpad that Dell pioneered. The report doesn’t mention anything about the XPS 13 9345’s price, but “it won’t be cheap,” cites the report.

Dell Inspiron 14 7441 Plus Leaked Images And Specifications

According to the report, the Dell Inspiron 14 7441 Plus could feature the Snapdragon X Elite with 16 processing cores. The notebook will also feature the Windows 11 24H2 Preview Build. Like the XPS 13 9345, the Inspiron 14 7441 will also come with the AI Explorer feature (and some other AI capabilities).

The base model of the Inspiron 17 7441 Plus will feature 16GB of RAM. While the overall design resembles the predecessor’s, Dell has worked toward increasing its portability. As seen in the images, the device could feature a sleeker profile and rounded edges, two USB-C ports, USB-A, and a microSD card slot.

Like the other model, this one will also feature a Copilot key. Another addition to the model is the front camera array, which will be Windows Hello-ready. The report specifically mentions that the Inspiron 17 7441 is “not a gaming or creative-work laptop.” Nonetheless, it should do just fine as a productivity or a business laptop.

The new Dell laptops could come out in August or September later this year.
