Dimensity 9000 SoC benchmarks on SPEC were captured when it was on a prototype device as well as now that it is officially available on Oppo Find X5. Both variants show a significant difference.

Talking about the A710 cores on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, it managed to earn 32.83 on performance while the Dimensity 9000 scored 38.27 and 40.73 on prototype and Find X5 variants respectively. This gives Dimensity 9000 a much higher performance than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 especially the Find X5 model which has gone beyond.

Next up, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset has a power consumption of 2.06W. When compared, the Dimensity 9000 SoC measures 1.72W and 2.24W on the prototype and Find X5 variants respectively. This translates into higher power required which means Dimensity 9000 SoC is comparatively power-hungry.
