It’s called the Dimensity 9500 SoC and is based on the Dimensity 9400 SoC, which has been featured in Android flagships for some time. What makes the chipset special is that it will power most of the Android flagships with top-tier specifications for the rest of the product cycle (late 2025 to late 2026), like the vivo X300 and the Oppo Find X9 lineup.

Remember the Snapdragon Summit, taking place from September 23 to 25, 2025, during which the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC will be released? Well, MediaTek is gearing up to beat Qualcomm to the punch by a day, as it has confirmed the Dimensity 9500’s launch to take place on September 22, 2025, at 04:30 PM IST, according to the Indian standard time.
Although MediaTek hasn’t revealed any details about the upcoming chipset, we’ve heard plenty of rumors about it, which give us a good idea of what the mobile chipset could offer.

Dimensity 9500 SoC: Specifications (Leaked)
According to recent reports, the Dimensity 9500 SoC will feature a 4.21 GHz prime core (up from 3.63 GHz on the Dimensity 9400), three 3.5 GHz performance cores (up from 3.3 GHz), and 2.7 GHz four efficiency cores (in a 1+3+4 CPU architecture).
Aside from the CPU, the chipset features the Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU, which provides 40% higher efficiency, improved ray tracing, and the ability to run video games at over 100 frames per second at the highest settings. Additionally, the chipset supports UFS 4.1 storage, LPDDR5X memory (clocked at 10,667 Mbps), and an NPU that delivers a peak computational power of 100 TOPS.

Early benchmark scores suggest that the phone might score around 3,900 points in the single-core and over 11,000 points in the multi-core Geekbench 6 CPU benchmark. According to a recent report, the Dimensity 9500 on the Find X9 Pro (a purported smartphone) scores over four million points on the AnTuTu 11 benchmark.
