A few days ago, we reported about how Elon Musk was ready to go to war against Apple as the latter wanted to remove the microblogging website Twitter from its app store. He called Apple’s move a threat to freedom of speech and claimed that he won’t let it go easily. Now, the latest news is that Musk has taken a tour of Apple’s Headquarters and met Apple’s CEO Tim Cook.

On Wednesday, Musk met Cook and shared a video of the Apple HQ. He claimed that whatever the situation was had been resolved. He called it a misunderstanding and said that Apple was never planning to remove Twitter from the App store.

In another tweet, Musk said, “Good conversation. Among other things, we resolved the misunderstanding about Twitter potentially being removed from the App store. Tim was clear that Apple never considered doing so.”

This is a surprising u-turn as earlier Musk was ready to go to war with Apple rather than pay 30% tax. Now, after the meeting, Elon Musk has deleted many of his tweets against the company. It is still not clear what other conversation happened between Tim Cook and Elon Musk as whether the issue about Apple not advertising on Twitter seems to be unresolved as well.
