Elon Musk’s microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter) has released a new Verified Organizations Basic tier. Designed for smaller businesses, the new service is much more affordable than the previous “Full Access” tier. Here’s everything we know about the new subscription tier for businesses, including its price and benefits.

X Verified Organizations Basic Tier Cost

Per a tweet by the official Verified handle of X, the new Verified Organizations Basic tier costs $200 per month or $2,000 annually. In India, the subscription costs Rs. 16,790 per month, or Rs. 1,68,000 annually. This new service is effectively about 80 percent more affordable than X’s Full Access subscription tier.

Here’s What The New Subscription Tier Offers

The Basic tier includes benefits like a gold checkmark, priority support, Premium+ membership, which provides access to Grok AI, and hiring-related features. However, benefits like 2x boost and affiliations are only available with Full Access. For a limited time, the microblogging service is also offering advertisement credit that can be used to run paid ads on the platform.

“The Credits expire after 30 days, including any unused portion,” writes X on a support page. Further, the platform clarifies that Credits can only be used to purchase ads on X, not for any other purpose.

Ad Credits Might Be A Good Way To Lure Businesses

While those with Full Access get $1,000 worth of ad credits every month, those with subscriptions to the basic tier get $200 per month or $2,000 annually, depending upon the plan. Those interested in getting the plan can subscribe using the platform’s desktop or mobile version. The individual subscription tiers remain the same: Basic, Premium, and Premium+.
