The Realme GT 8 Pro already made waves with its China launch, revealing a phone with frankly absurd specs. The one big question left was when it would actually launch in India.
Now, we have an answer.
Thanks to our trusted source, industry insider Yogesh Brar, the Realme GT 8 Pro is set to make its grand debut in India soon. According to Brar, the Realme GT 8 Pro is scheduled to launch in India on November 20th, 2025. This is contrary to the previously floated November 11th date, suggesting a slight shift.

This new date lands it smack in the middle of a packed month for flagship phones, including the rival OnePlus 15 and iQOO 15.
For those who missed the China launch, here’s a reminder of what this phone is packing.
Realme GT 8 Pro Specifications
The GT 8 Pro seems to be targeting two key areas: raw performance and photography. The Realme GT 8 Pro comes with a stunning 6.79-inch QHD+ OLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 7,000 nits peak brightness. It comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and will be the second phone in the country with this SoC after the OnePlus 15.

To boost the gaming performance, Realme has paired the 8 Elite Gen 5 with a custom R1 graphics chip. Powering the setup is a 7,000mAh battery that supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
On the optics side of things, Realme has gone ahead and collaborated with renowned camera maker Ricoh to deliver a richer camera experience on the GT 8 Pro. This has resulted in the GT 8 Pro packing a Ricoh-tuned triple-camera system. This includes a 50MP primary camera with Ricoh GR anti-glare lens, a 50MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 200MP Samsung HP5 Telephoto lens with 3x Optical Zoom.

Realme GT 8 Pro Price & Availability
In China the Realme GT 8 Pro has launched at a starting price of CNY 3,999, or about Rs. 49,400. Given Realme’s previous flagship pricing record, we think the phone will launch closer to the Rs 60k mark in India.
