With thousands of smartphones launching every year, it becomes very important to know how a particular phone will perform before you actually invest your money in it. Benchmark Tests are one way to know how a smartphone is performing in various fields, like CPU, GPU, Battery, and more. Scores of these benchmark tests give users an idea about which smartphone has a superior performance compared to others.

AnTuTu scores and 3D Mark GPU scores are two very important benchmarking tests that are performed when analyzing the performance of a device. We all know that iqoo is all set to launch the iQOO 11 series in India on the 10th of January 2023. Ahead of its launch, we at Smartprix have come across the scores for the iQOO 11 in 2 benchmarking tests- AnTuTu & 3D Mark GPU Wild Life Extreme test. The results are promising as the scores for iqoo 11 outweigh the scores for the 2022 launched Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max.

AnTuTu & 3D Mark Scores for iQOO 11 Vs Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max

 iPhone 14 Pro MaxiQOO 11
AnTuTu Scores9457941323820
3D Mark GPU Test Scores33183755

The comparison clearly shows that on paper, iQOO 11 will be expected to give a better performance than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. One of the main reasons why the scores are superior is because iQOO 11 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset that was recently launched by the chipmaker as its most powerful SoC to date. Compared to Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 the CPU and GPU performance has increased by 35% and 25%. 40% more power efficient. Compared to Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 the CPU and GPU performance has increased by 10% and 20% respectively. The phone ships with UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5 RAM which also adds to the performance. the LPPDR5x RAM offers a significant jump of 1.5x in terms of Read and write speeds. So now there will be no app crashing and consumers will get a smooth running of the background app. At the same time 20% less power consumption. The UFS 4.0 also got a big upgrade of Read/write speeds by 3.5x. Now a file of 2GB will take a few seconds to transfer.

The iQOO 11 also features a Vivo V2 chip that shares the GPU load, thus boosting the 3D Mark score. The V2 Chip has been designed to help Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in terms of graphic performance and Night photography. With V2 Imaging processing chip offers AI Computing, and 45MB SRAM which chip benefits consumers in two ways:

Boosting Frames

The V2 chip enables Game Frame Interpolation which help consumer to have an experience of 90fps, 120fps or 144fps in selected games where 60fps/90fps is the current max setting. This technology will add a virtual frame in real time for smoother frames in games like, COD , Free fire and Genshin Impact.

Night Videography

The V2 chip also offers Real Time Extreme night vision that can be used to record brighter videos beyond what you can see in less than 10Lux Scenario (which Means almost no light situations).

The smartphone will pack an E6 AMOLED 2K display panel that makes it even more premium. Although benchmark scores are promising, the actual caliber of the iQOO 11 will be known only when the phone actually gets launched in India on January 10. Till then, stay tuned to this space for more updates on this.
