Exclusive: Vivo Z1X to launch in India in the first week of September

Z1X is the phone that Vivo is going to launch in India next. Smartprix has learned that the phone will launch in India within the first week of September. The biggest attraction of the phone will be its triple rear cameras that’ll be led by a 48MP sensor.  It is likely to be pitched as an upgraded version of the Z1 Pro that was announced some time back.

If you recall, The Vivo Z1 Pro (review) houses a triple camera as well including 16 MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with an 8MP (f/2.2, 16mm ultrawide) and a tertiary 2 MP (f/2.4 depth sensor). Vivo is said to be replacing the 16MP primary sensor with a 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor. The selfie camera is likely to be same as on the predecessor.

At the start of July, Vivo for the first time launched its online exclusive series – Z1 Pro to increase its online presence. The move really really paid divided and the Z1 Pro has been one of the most sort phones in the segment since its launch.

The Vivo Z1 Pro was also the brand’s first phone in India to sport a punch-hole display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 712 chipset. Vivo made it available in 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB variants, each with a 5000mAh source with 18W fast charging support. It also has a dedicated Google Assistant button, Widevine L1 certification, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
