OTT platform Amazon Prime Video announced a long line-up of shows and movies that will stream on the platform in 2022 and 2023 and looks like the platform is working hard to fulfill what it promised as it has dropped its much-awaited original web series ‘Farzi’ by director duo Raj and DK last night. Farzi is an action thriller that marks the OTT debut of Shahid Kapoor. After a promotional spree of a month, the show was finally released by Amazon last night. It sees Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi in main roles.
Ever since the announcement was made, social media users were showing their excitement about this upcoming Amazon Original. The series not only has a strong star cast but has also been directed by the creators of The Family Man.
Farzi streaming on OTT now
The series has started streaming on Amazon Prime Video from today that is, February 10, 2023. The series can be watched by those who own an Amazon Prime membership. So, if you don’t have one, subscribe to the platform now for Rs. 1499 per year. The membership can also be availed for Rs. 599 per year for the Mobile Edition. The series has 8 episodes with a runtime of around 1 hour each.

The trailer of Shahid Kapoor starrer, Amazon Original ‘Farzi’ was unveiled on 13 Jan at an event in Mumbai. The event saw Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Raj & DK, and the entire cast present. Essaying the role of a con artist partaking in an elaborate fake currency scam, Shahid looks electric in the new trailer of the show. The web series stars Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. The other cast includes equally power-packed performers like Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna, Amol Palekar, Regina Cassandra, and Bhuvan Arora among others. The series has been produced under the D2R Films Banner and is written by Suman Kumar and Sita R Menon.
