M5 MacBook Pro Models Might Not Come Until Next Year

Regarding the arrival of M5 MacBook models, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently claimed that the Cupertino giant won’t release the M5-powered MacBooks this year (likely to give the M4 MacBooks enough time to stay on the shelves).

Previously, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman had stated that cellular MacBooks won’t arrive until 2026. From what it looks like, Apple’s first cellular MacBook, likely a MacBook Pro model, will debut in 2026 alongside the rest of the lineup.

Apple could follow a similar strategy as the Apple Watch, wherein buyers get the option to buy a MacBook with Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity or cellular connectivity (5G) for on-the-go access to the internet.
