For the past month, everyone has been speculating about Flipkart’s Big Billion Days 2025 sale and when it will kick off. While reports had already suggested an expected commencement date in the second or third week of September, the latest Fashion Pass provides a clearer indication of when the sale can begin.

Flipkart Fashion Pass Hints At Big Billion Days Commencement

The third point in the “Details” section of the product mentions that the “Pass is valid for sale between 15th – 30th Sept only.” This suggests that the Big Billion Days sale may commence on September 15, 2025.
While that might be sooner than what we expected, I mentioned a similar range in my article on Amazon’s Great Indian Festival 2025. Given that these sales must capitalize on the Indian festive season, their schedule and duration are closely tied to, or rather dependent on, festivals like Dussehra or Diwali.

Given that Dussehra 2025 is on October 2, 2025, there’s a very good chance that both the e-commerce platforms Flipkart and Amazon will kick off their annual sales 15 days before the festival, i.e., around September 15.
