Samsung just launched its first Copilot+ PC in India — the Galaxy Book4 Edge, a lightweight laptop designed to bridge the gap between smartphones and next-gen AI computing. Starting at ₹59,990, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite platform and comes loaded with on-device AI features, a long-lasting battery, and Microsoft’s latest productivity tools built around Copilot+.

This marks Samsung’s official entry into the AI PC era, and it’s doing so with a device that’s engineered not just for creators and professionals, but also for everyday users looking for smarter workflows, seamless mobile-PC integration, and tight data security.

Snapdragon X + Copilot+

At the heart of the Galaxy Book4 Edge is the Snapdragon X Elite processor, a chip built for AI computing. It delivers 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS) of NPU performance, enough to run large language models (LLMs) and creative tools directly on the device, without needing a cloud connection.

This enables Copilot+ features like Co-creator, which turns doodles and text prompts into AI-generated visuals in seconds. Windows Studio Effects, including auto framing, eye correction, and voice focus, also run natively for better video calls without additional load on the CPU or GPU.

Seamless Sync With Your Galaxy Phone

Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge comes with Link to Windows, Multi Control, and Second Screen features that let users easily mirror phone screens, drag and drop files, or use their Galaxy Tab as an extended display. Features like Chat Assist and Live Translate, previously phone-only, are now available on the PC — enabling real-time language translation and text rewriting across devices.

Ultra-Portable Build, Long Battery, and Wi-Fi 7

The Galaxy Book4 Edge maintains a sleek, minimal, and lightweight design, which comes in a premium Arctic Blue finish. Built using recycled materials (plastic, aluminum, and glass), it packs a 15-inch anti-glare display, 1080p HD webcam, and the latest Wi-Fi 7 for high-speed, low-latency connectivity.

Samsung states that the battery can last up to 27 hours on a single charge, which makes it one of the longest-lasting Windows laptops in its category. However, actual performance may vary based on workload and connectivity. We have not yet tested the Galaxy Book4 Edge, so we cannot verify these battery claims.

Privacy-First AI and Enterprise-Grade Security

Where most AI tools live in the cloud, Samsung and Microsoft are betting on a privacy-first, local-first approach. Features like Recall, Microsoft’s AI-powered memory tool that lets users retrieve anything they’ve seen on their PC, operate entirely on-device.

To back that up, the Book4 Edge ships as a Microsoft Secured-core PC with Samsung Knox, offering layered hardware-to-software security. That includes real-time threat monitoring, firmware protection, and cloud-based data recovery when needed. Privacy controls let users pause, delete, or filter what Recall tracks — a step that may reassure users concerned about AI surveillance.

Pricing and Availability in India

The Galaxy Book4 Edge is available starting today at an introductory price of ₹59,990, with ₹5,000 cashback on select bank cards. You can buy it via Samsung.com, Flipkart, the Samsung Shop App, and at Samsung Experience Stores and other major retail outlets. At that price, it undercuts many rival Copilot+ PCs, which may help Samsung build momentum in India’s still-nascent AI PC category.
