Galaxy Watch 8 Render

The standard Galaxy Watch 8 is depicted in the render with a minimalist design, featuring a light gray strap, a slightly darker gray frame around the screen, and a black screen.
When compared to the current generation smartwatch from Samsung, the Galaxy Watch 8 features a “squircle” design, a term that refers to a square-like frame with a circular screen. Until last year, the company used the squircle design to differentiate between the Galaxy Watch Ultra and the regular Galaxy Watch; however, from 2025, that may no longer be the case.
Reports also suggest that the vanilla Galaxy Watch 8 will feature smaller bezels compared to its predecessor.

Galaxy Watch 8 Classic Render

With the Galaxy Watch 8 lineup, Samsung could bring back the Classic model. As seen in the render, the watch has a leather strap (with stitches on both sides), a shiny metallic chassis, and a working rotating bezel around the notch (characterized by the groovy edges).
Besides the rotating bezel, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic also gets a new Quick Button and two side buttons. Like the original Galaxy Watch Ultra, this variant also appears to feature the squircle design language, characterized by a circular screen within a square-shaped frame.

Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 Render

Last but not least, the renders showcase the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 in a familiar design language but with a new blue colorway (where the strap, metallic boundary around the screen, and watch face feature blue with orange highlights).
Apart from the new blue color, the Watch Ultra 2025 render doesn’t reveal anything else.
All models in the Galaxy Watch 8 lineup will offer new health-monitoring features, including carotenoid tracking, as well as guidance during workouts. Further, they’ll run on One UI 8’s smartwatch version. Samsung is expected to unveil its latest smartwatches at a rumored Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10, 2025. More details about it should surface soon.
