TL; DR
  • Leaked renders show the Galaxy S26 Ultra with more rounded corners, a slimmer body, and a new pill-shaped camera island in colors Cobalt Violet and Black.
  • The S26 Ultra is rumored to get 25W Qi2 wireless charging, 60W wired charging, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, larger camera apertures, and a new Privacy Display feature.
  • Samsung will unveil the full Galaxy S26 lineup on February 25, 2026, at Galaxy Unpacked.

Leaks have revealed what appear to be official renders of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra, offering an early look at the company’s 2026 flagship. Android Headlines shared the images, showing the device in finishes such as Cobalt Violet and Black.

The renders show Samsung refining the Ultra design rather than changing it drastically. The Galaxy S26 Ultra uses more rounded corners compared to the S25 Ultra, likely improving in-hand comfort. Samsung also trims the profile down to around 7.9 mm while keeping a large flat 6.9-inch QHD+ AMOLED display.

On the back, Samsung switches to a more pronounced, unified pill-shaped camera island that houses three cameras with another pill to the right housing the fourth camera and other sensors. The layout is mostly identical to the S25 Ultra.

Leaks point to several hardware upgrades. Samsung reportedly adds 25W Qi2 wireless charging with built-in magnetic alignment, a noticeable jump from the earlier 15W limit (without magnets). Wired charging also jumps to 60W, up from 45W. And naturally, it gets a performance bump with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Camera hardware also sees changes. Samsung reportedly uses larger apertures on the main and the 5X telephoto lens but the 3X telephoto is expected to stay mostly the same. The ultra-wide and selfie cameras are also unlikely to see any meaningful changes.

The phone also brings a Privacy Display feature that reduces side-angle visibility while keeping the screen clear when viewed straight on. Samsung continues to include the built-in S Pen and ships the device with Android 16 and One UI 8.5 out of the box.

Leaks also mention a 5,000 mAh battery and new color options such as White, Silver Shadow, Sky Blue, and Pink Gold. Separate accessory leaks show magnetic cases, which further support Samsung’s move to Qi2 with native magnet support.
