TL; DR
  • Samsung has confirmed a Galaxy Event on August 27, widely expected to reveal the Galaxy S26 FE.
  • A full spec sheet leaked via WinFuture shows only minor upgrades over the S25 FE.
  • Pricing is expected to rise across storage tiers due to the ongoing memory shortage.

Samsung has sent out invites for a Galaxy Event on August 27. While the invite does not name the device, the timing and leak volume make it clear this is the Galaxy S26 FE reveal.

A complete spec sheet obtained by WinFuture shows a largely iterative update. The phone is expected to run the Exynos 2500, the same 3nm chip that debuted on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 in 2025. It pairs a 10-core CPU with an Xclipse 950 GPU that supports hardware ray tracing. RAM remains 8GB, with storage options of 128GB and 256GB.

The display stays at 6.7 inches, 2340 x 1080 resolution, 120Hz AMOLED. The camera setup is essentially unchanged: 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultrawide, 8MP 3x telephoto, and a 12MP front camera. Battery capacity rises to 4,900mAh with silicon-carbon technology, while wired charging remains capped at 45W. The phone measures 7.4mm thick and weighs around 193g.

The main design change is on the rear, where the individual camera rings of the S25 FE are replaced by a vertical camera island similar to the standard Galaxy S26, along with a flatter aluminium frame and thinner bezels.

It is expected to ship with Android 17 and One UI 9, backed by seven years of OS and security updates. Galaxy AI features such as Photo Assist, Document Scan and Horizon Lock are expected to be included.

Colour options point to Graphite, Mint and Violet (also described as Cobalt Violet and a pistachio-style green). Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and satellite support, but no Qi2 magnetic charging.

European pricing leaks suggest increases across the board: the 128GB model up around €50, the 256GB model up around €90, and a possible 512GB variant up as much as €150. US pricing estimates sit between $699 and $799. Indian pricing has not been detailed yet.

All specifications and pricing remain unofficial until Samsung’s announcement on August 27.
