The Taiwan-based consumer tech giant Gigabyte has launched its Aorus Master 16 gaming laptop in India. The device offers immense processing power with the Core Ultra 9 processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 laptop GPU. Further, it features a three-zone RGB backlit keyboard (up to 1.7mm travel), support for up to 64GB of RAM, and 4TB of storage.

First and foremost, the Gigabyte Aorus Master 16 features a 16-inch OLED screen. It has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, a 240Hz refresh rate, a 1ms response time, and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The screen can also achieve a peak brightness of 500 nits.

The screen features various certifications, including Nvidia G-Sync, Nvidia Advanced Optimus, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500. Additional certifications include VESA ClearMR 10000, Pantone validation, TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light, and Dolby Vision. Complementing the display are four 2W speakers that support Dolby Atmos.

The Gigabyte Aorus Master 16 laptop features the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor (36MB cache, 5.4 GHz clock speed, 24 cores, and 24 threads). The processor also powers GiMate, Gigabyte’s AI-based personal assistant. It enables intuitive control through natural language commands using the “Press and Speak” function.

Besides the capable Intel chipset, the laptop flaunts up to Nvidia RTX 5080 GPU (16GB GDDR7), which is based on the company’s latest Blackwell architecture. While the laptop can handle demanding workflows like 4K video editing (with multiple layers), 3D designing, or coding with ease, it also provides access to Nvidia NIM Microservices, allowing developers to create AI agents and assistants.

The Aorus Master 16 supports up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 4TB of PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. For keeping the motherboard’s temperature under control, there’s a dedicated vapor chamber and an advanced airflow system (with 3D VortX circulation that claims to produce zero noise). Powering the laptop is a 99Wh battery (you get a 330W AC adapter in the box).

Out of the box, the laptop runs on the Windows 11 Home operating system.

At the time of writing this article, we could only find one variant of the Gigabyte Aorus Master 16 laptop on Amazon with 32GB of RAM, 2TB of storage, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 laptop GPU, listed at Rs. 3,33,000.

However, the baseline variant of the Gigabyte Aorus Master 16 should start at Rs. 3,15,000.
