Global Variant of Xiaomi Mix Flip Might Arrive Soon: Details Surface Online

In July 2024, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Xiaomi Mix Flip foldables in China. The Xiaomi Mix Flip is the first ever flip phone by Xiaomi and while Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 might be exclusive to China, the flip phone is expected to have a global debut soon. Ahead of the global launch, Xiaomi Mix Flip has been spotted on a Xiaomi FAQs page. The page reveals all the major details about the upcoming foldable.

Xiaomi Mix Flip (Global version): RAM, Storage & Color Options

The Xiaomi Mix Flip page reveals that the global version will come in 12GB and 16GB LPDDR5X RAM models and feature 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. These storage models will offer UFS storage expansion of 8GB, 16GB, and 32 GB.

The page also mentions Xiaomi Mix Flip will come in black, white, and purple hues and feature Panda X Glass. There will also be a Xiaomi Nylon Fiber special edition that will have a fiberglass substrate and a nylon outer layer.

Detailed FAQ page confirms that the launch of Xiaomi Mix Flip is imminent and it might go official in September 2024.

Xiaomi Mix Flip: Specs

The Xiaomi Mix Flip foldable will have a 6.86-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED panel with 1224×2912 pixel resolution. It also features a 4-inch AMOLED panel with 1392×1208 pixel resolution on the outside. The displays support a 120Hz refresh rate. The device has an aluminum frame and a stainless steel hinge.

It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with up to 32GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage. At the back is a 50MP main sensor, along with a 50MP telephoto lens. It runs Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box and packs a 4780mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging.

For security, there is a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The pricing is expected to be around Rs. 70,000.
