Xiaomi to Rival Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Z Flip 6 with Mix 4 Series this month: Are these coming to India as well?

Samsung is all set to host its Unpacked Event tomorrow wherein It will announce the next generation foldables, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. However, it seems tech giant Xiaomi has plans to give a tough fight to Samsung’s foldables as it is all set to roll out Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Xiaomi Mix Flip 4 foldables this month itself. Yes, you heard it right reliable tipster claims that Xiaomi will launch the Galaxy Z Series Rival devices in July 2024. However, a major question that arises is whether Xiaomi’s foldables will have a global reach like Samsung or not. Let’s try to find out.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 & Flip 4: Launch Timeline

Xiaomi has reportedly taken to Weibo to confirm that Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Xiaomi Mix Flip 4 are launching in July, but there’s no launch date that is hinted upon. Digital Chat Station has also posted details about the upcoming Xiaomi foldables and claims that Mix Flip 4 is gearing up to solve some issues encountered in its predecessor. The tipster shares that Mix Flip 4 will offer “very strong” specs in terms of display, chipset, photography, and durability. Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is expected to weigh around 230 grams and have a thickness of under 10mm.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 4: Expected specs

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is expected to come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and feature a Leica Summilux-backed 50MP main sensor. It is tipped to arrive with an IPX8 rating and pack a 5000mAh battery along with support for wireless charging.

Xiaomi Mix Flip 4: Expected specs

Xiaomi Mix Flip 4 will also get the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It is likely to have a 1.5K display and pack a 4900mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging. The clamshell foldable is expected to get a 50MP main camera at the back along with a 60MP secondary sensor. At the front might be a 32MP snapper.

Will Xiaomi foldables come to India?

Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun has taken to X to share the English version of the promotional poster which confirms a global launch soon. This means Xiaomi has planns to bring Mix Flip 4 and Mix Fold 4 to India as well. To recall, earlier Xiaomi foldables haven’t been launched outside China.

Some reports claim that the Xiaomi Mix Flip 4 has a strong possibility of coming to India. If this happens, it would give good competition to the Moto Razr 50 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, and others.

Since the China launch has been confirmed for July 2024, we will get to know more about Xiaomi’s plans for the global launch soon.
