The rumor market has been hot for some time now over the Google Pixel 6 series. Google’s upcoming flagship series will be a successor to last year’s not-so-flagshipy Pixel 5. They are expected to make some major changes this time around. The most interesting tidbit about the Google Pixel 6 series is that for the first time, the company could use its own chipset. And now a fresh new leak tells us the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro is likely to get 5 years of Android updates, which would put it in line with the Industry benchmark, ie., iPhones.

Besides that, the leaks also reveal the alleged key specs of both these Pixels.

Under the hood, Google is said to use its own chipset codenamed Whitechapel which is being termed as better than Snapdragon 870. Upon release, we will see. This chipset could be accompanied by 8GB RAM along with 128GB or 256GB of storage options. Internally, it also houses a 4614mAh battery.

Google Pixel 6 Pro

According to the recent leaks, the Pro model (codenamed Raven) will sport a 6.71-inch Quad HD+ pOLED display. The front camera is a 12MP sensor. On the other side, the rear holds a 50MP main camera, a 48MP telephoto, and a 12MP ultrawide.

The insides could include the aforementioned Whitechapel chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage. The battery size will be bigger at 5000mAh.
