Google confirmed in its I/O earlier this year that it will bring the Google Pixel 6a smartphone to the global and Indian markets. For those who have been waiting for Pixel 6a to arrive in India, their wait has finally come to an end. Google Pixel 6a is now available for pre-order on Flipkart. Google claims that the deliveries of the Pixel 6a will begin from July 28.

Google Pixel 6a Price & Availability
The Google Pixel 6a has a price of Rs. 43,999 at the moment. The smartphone is visible in Chalk and Charcoal colorways for now. Some discount offers that are available include-
- Axis Bank card users can get a Rs. 4000 instant discount on the purchase of the Pixel 6a, bringing the price down to Rs. 39,999.
- Google says that if anyone exchanges a previous Pixel phone, they will get an exchange discount of Rs. 6000 on the Pixel 6a.
- Rs. 2000 discount will be available on the exchange of any other phone.
- Customers will also get a chance to buy a Nest Hub Gen2, FitBit Inspire 2, or Pixel Buds A at a price of Rs. 4500 if they are buying Pixel 6a.
Google Pixel 6a Specs
The Google Pixel 6a sports a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, dual tone metal and glass design, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The smartphone runs Android 12 OS out of the box and is due for an Android 13 update later this fall.
The Pixel 6a is powered by a Tensor chipset with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone packs a 4410mAh battery with UP TO 30W fast charging support. It has a fingerprint sensor for security, stereo speakers, a Titan M2 security chip, dual microphones, and noise impressions. It is IP67 rated and Google has promised 3 years of Android updates and 5 years of security patches.
Connectivity options for Google Pixel 6a include 5G, 4G Volte, WiFi 6, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone has a dual camera setup on the back, including a 12.2MP main and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The front houses an 8MP selfie camera. The Pixel 6a is 8.9mm thick and weighs 178 grams.

Google Pixel Buds Pro
Google and Flipkart are also going to sell Pixel Buds pro in India. They will be available from July 28 at a price of Rs. 19,990. The Buds will offer 11 hours of music playback and come with smart features like silent seal and transparency mode.
