Google is one company that seems to have a hard time keeping its future products under wraps. And it just so happens that the upcoming Pixel 6a has leaked. This will be a watered-down variant of the regular Pixel 6 which had launched earlier this year. And from the renders, we learn the device doesn’t have a headphone jack.

As for the source of the leak, it is the ever-so-reliable Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks). We get to see the device from different angles thus knowing what to expect out of the device, at least on the design part. Here, take a look for yourself —

Google Pixel 6a Design and Details

Google Pixel 6a looks very similar to its higher-end siblings. It has a long protruding visor by the back holding two cameras and a flash module. Rest, by the back, there appears to be just a ‘G’ logo.

Flip to the front, and there is a central punch hole, flat edges, and a slightly thicker chin.

At the bottom, you’ve got a USB-C port, speaker grille, and a mic. The other mic is at the top. The left side has a SIM card tray, and by the right side, there’s a volume rocker and a power key.

By the looks of it, we think Google would be using an under-display fingerprint scanner on the Pixel 6a, just like the top trims.

Now, another absent feature is a 3.5mm headphone socket, which would make this the first Pixel A-series phone to ditch the beloved jack.

The leaks suggest, the device could measure 152.2 x 71.8. x 8.7mm in dimensions and sport a 6.2-inch screen on the front.

Well, that’s about it for now. We will be sharing more details about the forthcoming Pixel handset as and when we have them.
