Remix in Google Messages

Using Nano Banana, Google’s Gemini image creation model, users can edit and reimagine any photo in Google Messages. It doesn’t matter what phone your friend has; you can send it to them, and they can see it (cross-platform rich messaging service at work here). The feature works in group chats as well.
AI-Powered Notification Summaries

Compatible Google Pixel devices can now summarize users’ conversations, recapping them in the notification shade. This makes it easier for the user to catch up on group texts or long chat threads quickly. In December, Google will release another feature to help reduce notification overwhelm by silencing lower-priority notifications.
Scam Alerts For Chat Messages
In the United States, Pixel 6 and newer phones will now warn users about potential scams in chat notifications from popular apps. The feature, called Scam Detection, automatically displays a “Likely Scam” tag on notifications for messages that appear suspicious.

Prioritized Messages From VIPs
Google Message notifications from VIPs (users’ close friends or family members) will now get prioritized. Furthermore, VIPs will also have a crisis badge in the Contacts widget to keep users posted on critical alerts.
Personalized Edits In Google Photos

The Google Photos app can now perform personalized edits, such as taking off your sunglasses, fixing closed eyes in a shot, and making someone smile. These capabilities have been added to the “Help me Edit” feature in Google Photos. The feature uses other pictures in your gallery to ensure accurate results.
Power Saving Mode In Google Maps
There’s a new Power Saving mode in Google Maps that blacks out everything but your selected route, providing only key information like upcoming turns and a preview of the way ahead. According to Google, the feature can help you extend your phone’s battery life on long trips by “up to four hours.”
