Ten years ago, Rockstar Games released one of the most popular video game titles ever, GTA 5. Initially, the game came out for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but later, the company released it for more platforms. Even today, Steam sees about two and a half million GTA online players monthly, a testament to the game’s popularity. That said, fans are eagerly waiting for the next installment in the GTA franchise, and a new leak will surely give them some hope.

GTA 6 Announcement And Release Date Leaked

An X user (formerly known as Twitter) who goes by @GTA6posts claims that GTA 6 could come out next month. The leakster cites a voice note from Take Two Interactive’s CEO, where the executive is discussing an announcement that will take place in October 2023. Quoting words from the voice note, the next GTA could launch in October 2024. The X user has previously leaked several images and videos related to the unreleased GTA V successor.

Interestingly, the voice note is no longer available on X due to a copyright strike. Nonetheless, the leak aligns with other reports, suggesting that Rockstar Games could announce GTA 6 next month. Even so, the game won’t be available for another year until its release date in 2024. A recent earnings call of Take Two Interactive also revealed a potential release date for the game in 2024 or 2025.

However, since the developers haven’t confirmed anything, readers should take this information with a pinch of salt. Given that GTA 6 has been in development for a long time, we’ve seen countless leaks and content related to the game. Several independent artists have created fan trailers and gameplay videos, hyping up the unreleased title.
