The BSNL Vanity numbers are divided into three levels based on their sequence and representation.
- Level 1-Plus and Level 1 Category numbers are available for open sale following three e-auction cycles, priced at the last successful e-auction price plus any applicable taxes.
- Level 2 Category numbers can be purchased through open sale after just one e-auction cycle.
- Similarly, Level 3 Category numbers are also offered for open sale after one e-auction cycle.

- BSNL VIP Numbers are available for purchase through an auction process. Interested individuals can take part in the e-auction organized by BSNL for these vanity numbers, with the successful bidder receiving the desired VIP Number.
- To participate, visit the BSNL E-Auction website, as auctions for these highly sought-after numbers occur regularly. Each number has a minimum starting price, but bids may escalate, and the highest bidder will secure the number.
- Select the state where the auction is taking place and click on the corresponding option for your preferred state.
- To enter the auction, log in using your mobile number and password. Registration can be completed with your mobile number and email address.
- From the side menu, click on the Available Numbers option.
- You will find a list of numbers along with their base prices and registration fees. Choose the number that appeals to you.
- Proceed by clicking on Continue to cart, and once the number is in your cart, finalize the payment.
