One of the most-watched cricket tournaments in the world, IPL 2025, is about to commence on March 22, 2025. This year, the league will stream live via JioHotstar, the OTT platform that came up from the merger of Jio Cinema and Disney+ Hotstar. Ahead of its premiere, Reliance Jio has launched a new unlimited plan to let users stream IPLS 2025 in 4K completely free.

What Does The Free JioHotstar Offer Include?

First, the Jio Unlimited Offer provides 90 days of free JioHotstar subscription on TVs or mobile devices with 4K stream quality.
Further, the offer also includes a free trial of JioFiber or AirFiber (Jio’s broadband services) with 800+ TV channels, 11+ OTT platforms, and unlimited Wi-Fi.

The benefits are available for both new and existing Jio SIM customers.

How To Avail The Free JioHotstar Offer?

Existing users can recharge their subscription with Rs. 299 (1.5GB per day or above) to avail of the offer. If you’ve already recharged your SIM card before March 17, 2025, you can still get the offer by purchasing the Rs. 100 add-on pack.
Prospective customers can get a new Jio SIM card and recharge it with the Rs. 299 (1.5GB per day or more) plan or above.

So, while you won’t have to subscribe to JioHotstar, you’ll still have to pay for the recharge plan or the add-on plan to view IPL 2025. Whether or not this plan includes access to other content on JioHotstar isn’t clear at the moment.

Things To Know About Free JioHotstar Offer

In both cases, the unlimited JioHotstar plan will go live on March 22, 2025, with the opening match day for IPL 2025, for a period of 90 days. Last but not least, buyers must recharge their SIM cards between March 17 and March 31, 2025.
