Honor has released another clamshell foldable in China called the Magic Vs 2. The smartphone has a 120Hz 7.92-inch foldable screen, runs on a Snapdragon 8 series SoC for flagship performance, and supports fast wired charging. Here’s everything you need to know about the Honor Vs 2, its specifications, and price.

Honor Magic Vs 2 Specifications

The Honor Magic Vs has an outer screen of 6.43-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2,376 x 1,060 pixels. The inner OLED screen measures 7.92 inches and has a 2,344 x 2,156 pixels resolution. While the outer display has a peak brightness of 2,500 nits, making it one of the brightest in the segment, the primary screen peaks at 1,600 nits. Both panels support a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Under the hood, the foldable runs on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC released by Qualcomm in 2022. The CPU runs alongside the Adreno 730 GPU. In terms of RAM and storage, the Honor Magic Vs 2 comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. Out of the box, the phone runs on Magic OS 7.2, based on Android 13.

Regarding optics, the foldable features a 50MP (f/1.9) primary camera, a 20MP (f/2.4) telephoto camera, a 12MP (f/2.2), and a 12MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide sensor. On the front, users get a 16MP (f/2.2) selfie shooter. The smartphone has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging to power through a typical day. Interestingly, the phone comes with a fast charger in the box.

Other features of the smartphone include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi, and USB-C.

Honor Magic Vs 2 Price

Honor Magic Vs 2, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, costs CNY 6,999, which is about Rs. 80,000 in India. The phone will start shipping in China on October 17, 2023. For now, there’s no word about the global launch. Honor has released the phone in three different colors, including Glacier Blue, Violet Coral, and Midnight Black.
