Infinix Band 5 brings Heart Rate Sensor and Water-resistant Body at Rs. 1799

Smart Band options under 2000 price bracket are very few and far between. Well, the Hong Kong-based Infinix has launched a new band for Rs. 1799 in India. The Infinix Band 5 comes with a heart rate sensor and water-resistant body for this price tag. Just so you know, this one’s a successor to Xband 3 which was released earlier this year. Let’s see what the new band brings to the table.

Infinix Band 5 Features

Starting with the appearance, you could pick it in three colors viz.  Black, Blue, and Red. Band 5 sports a 0.96-inch TFT LCD display with a 160 x 80 pixels resolution.

It works on Bluetooth 4.0 and is compatible with devices running Android 4.4 or later and iOS 9.0 or later.

It offers features such as step count, sleep tracking, calorie consumption data, and sedentary reminder. Further, it also bears a PPG Heart Rate Sensor for Heart rate tracking and a 3-axis accelerometer for activity, exercise, and sleep tracking. Infinix Band 5 bags IP67 water resistance too.

It is capable of syncing your smartphone Notifications (Call, Calendar, Text Notifications, App Alerts) and there is an option to snap a picture using the phone’s camera by means of a shake.

It claims to tick for up to 7 days between charge and 22 days of standby.

As aforementioned, the asking price is Rs. 1799 and you can grab one from Flipkart during the Big Shopping Days sale from December 1st.
