Infinix has unveiled its next entry-grade smartphone Infinix Smart 5A in India. The highlights of the phone include an HD+ drop notch display, dual rear camera, quad-core Helio chipset, and a big 5000mAh battery. The phone also comes with an enticing Jio cashback offer.

Infinix Smart 5A Specs
Infinix Smart 5A sports a 6.52-inch HD+ waterdrop display with a 90.5% screen-to-body ratio, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 500nits brightness. The back panel features a prism flow design coming in three colors – Midnight Black, Quetzal Cyan, and Ocean Wave.
The Smart 5A is equipped with a dual rear camera setup including an 8MP primary camera and a depth sensor with a triple LED flash. The phone offers selfies and video calls with its 8MP front camera.

At the core, Infinix Smart 5A is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A20 processor paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The memory can be expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. Inside, it also packs a 5000mAh battery with a 10W charger. It runs on XOS 7.6 based on Android 11 Go Edition. The security features include a rear fingerprint sensor and face unlock.
Infinix Smart 5A Price & Availability
The Infinix Smart 5A is priced at INR 6,499 for its sole variant. The phone will be available through Flipkart from August 9. Customers can also enjoy a cashback of INR 550 bundled with the Jio program.

Infinix-Jio Offer for Smart 5A
Infinix has collaborated with Jio to offer a cashback of INR 550 on the purchase of Smart 5A. The partnership allows the buyers to get the benefit in two ways.
- For orders made on Flipkart, consumers need to apply for a primary Jio connection via the MyJio app within 15 days of purchase. Once their credentials and device eligibility are confirmed, the cashback will be credited directly to a bank account through provided UPI handle.
- If the customers prefer to buy the Infinix Smart 5A offline through a Jio POS authorized retailer, he/she will have to opt for a Jio SIM. With this, the phone’s primary SIM will be locked with Jio network and customers can instantly avail INR 550 discount.
Note that the company has made it necessary to use the Jio number for at least 30 months. If failed to do so, customers will be asked to refund a partial amount of the cashback. What that amount is will be shared by Jio.
