TL; DR

  • Infinix ZERO Flip officially teased; a leaked poster shows Black and Pink colors, 3.64” 120 Hz cover display, and 4K video recording.
  • Rumored specs: Dimensity 8020, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB storage, 4700 mAh battery, and 70 W fast charging.
  • The launch is expected by the end of this month or October.

Infinix is gearing up to unveil its first foldable, the Infinix ZERO Flip. The company has already shared the teaser of the clamshell foldable with the “Coming Soon” remark. In another place, a Pakistani retailer by the name Chigtai Mobile has shared a poster of the ZERO Flip.

Unwrapping the official teaser and the leaked poster

The official teaser focuses on the hinge of the device, which has the Infinix branding and two screws at each end. The leaked poster, though, showcases the ZERO Flip in all its glory—including the two color options—Black and Pink.

Aside from that, the poster reveals the design of the ZERO Flip. So, it’ll have a full screen 3.64” 120 Hz cover display with a vertical camera layout, much like the Xiaomi MIX Flip. Further, it will have a USB-C port, speakers, SIM card tray and microphones on the top and the bottom.

For biometrics, the ZERO Flip seems to be using a fingerprint scanner baked into the power button on the left. The poster also says that the device will support 4K video recording from both the main and the rear cameras.

Infinix likely wants to market the ZERO Flip as a mini GoPro, since we can also see the GoPro partnership in the same. Oh, and it will sport a “zero-gap hinge,” which means that the device can shut completely without leaving a gap. There’s also “minimal screen crease,” apparently.

Rumored Specifications

The Infinix ZERO Flip is rumored to feature a 3.64” cover display with a 120 Hz refresh rate (now confirmed) and Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, the Infinix ZERO Flip is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 8020 processor.

It will be complemented by 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It will likely feature a 4700 mAh battery and support 70 W fast charging. The device is said to measure 7.64 mm when unfolded.

The Infinix ZERO Flip is expected to launch by the end of this month or in October. Stay tuned for more updates as the official release date approaches.
