iQOO has been working on its next flagship, iQOO 13 5G for a while now and leaks and rumors about the device have kept the tech world abuzz for the past few weeks. Now, finally, as the launch date of the iQOO 13 5G is getting closer, we have our first look at the official design of the smartphone. The latest teaser for iQOO 13 5G shows an official image of the device with flat sides and a tiny cutout for the selfie sensor. The successor to iQOO 12 5G will also be powered by a Supercomputing Chip Q2 along with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

iQOO 13 5G: Official Design
The teaser above shows iQOO 13 5G with flat sides and a tiny cutout for the selfie camera. In comparison, iQOO 12 has a much larger cutout for a selfie camera and thicker chin bezels. With iQOO 13, the brand is finally offering symmetrical bezels.
iQOO 13 5G will launch in China on 9th December in China and the global version will go official in late December or Q1 2025.

iQOO 13 5G: Expected & Confirmed Specs
A company executive has confirmed that the iQOO 13 5G will have a 2K OLED display with a metal middle frame and the smartphone will run OriginOS 5. The new display panel is expected to be more power efficient as well.
iQOO 13 5G will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset along with a Supercomputing Q2 chip and pack a 6100mAh battery with 100W PPS and PD charging. The smartphone is tipped to have a thickness of merely 8.1mm.
In terms of camera, iQOO 13 5G is expected to feature three cameras at the back including a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera, Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultrawide sensor, and an IMX826 2x telephoto camera.
It will reportedly be IP68 rated for might feature up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. iQOO 13 is also expected to have an all-new heat dissipation system with a new VC cooling technology.

iQOO 13 5G: Certification Websites
The launch of iQOO 13 will take place in the next few months as the device has already been seen on China’s 3C certification website and IMEI database. It was also seen on European EEC and SGS certification sites confirming an imminent global launch as well. The flagship-grade smartphone will first debut in China followed by a global launch including India.
