TL; DR
- The iQOO 15 Ultra is launching in China in early February 2026 with a clear gaming-first focus.
- Official renders show a honeycomb-textured back, active cooling vents, and pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers.
- Specs point to Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a large 144 Hz 2K display, a 7,000 mAh-class battery, and active cooling.
The official teasers show a design that builds on the standard iQOO 15 but leans harder into gaming aesthetics. The rear panel keeps a familiar layout while adding a honeycomb texture intended to improve grip and heat dissipation. The camera island has been reworked to integrate visible vents for an internal active cooling fan, which is positioned as a core feature rather than a hidden add-on.
On the right edge, the phone clearly includes pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers alongside the power and volume buttons. These triggers are aimed at competitive gaming use, allowing physical inputs without relying entirely on touch controls.

Two color variants have been confirmed so far. The “2077” version uses a black base with orange accents and leans into a cyberpunk look. The “2049” version pairs a white or silver base with blue highlights for a more futuristic style. Both names reference sci-fi themes, which aligns with the Ultra branding rather than the cleaner look of the base model.

Hardware expectations line up with earlier leaks. The iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with iQOO’s dedicated Q3 gaming chip. The display is tipped to be a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with 2K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate.
Battery capacity is expected to cross 7,000 mAh, with support for 100W wired fast charging, and 40W wireless charging as well.

Active cooling is a key differentiator between this and the vanilla 15. Camera hardware appears largely carried over from the standard iQOO 15 (review), with a triple 50 MP setup that includes a main camera with OIS, an ultra-wide, and an M-shape telephoto.
The teasers confirm a China launch scheduled for early February 2026, just ahead of the Spring Festival. The availability outside of China has not been confirmed and it’s highly unlikely to happen.
