- It is expected to be an India-focused rebrand of the China-only Z11 Turbo, with some minor tweaks.
iQOO has officially announced the India launch date for the iQOO 15R. The confirmation came directly from Nipun Marya, who revealed on X that the device will debut in India on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. The teaser leans heavily on the idea of “flagship power in a perfect fit,” pointing toward a slightly smaller phone.

The announcement image shows the iQOO 15R in a tiled pattern finish that has not been seen on the China variant. This design appears to be exclusive to India. The textured, pixel-style rear panel sets it apart visually from the standard color options offered in China.
iQOO 15R Rumored Specs
In terms of hardware, the iQOO 15R is expected to closely follow the Z11 Turbo that launched earlier in China. It is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch flat LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and HBM up to 1,800 Nits. The chipset is expected to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, along with a dedicated Q2 gaming chip.

Camera hardware is expected to include a 200 MP Samsung HP5 main sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide, and a 32 MP front camera. Battery capacity is another highlight, with a large 7,600 mAh cell and support for 100W wired fast charging. The phone is also expected to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, a metal frame, glass back, and a relatively slim profile for its battery size.
On the software side, the iQOO 15R is expected to ship with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, along with features like a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, and X-axis linear motor haptics.
iQOO 15R Expected Pricing
Pricing has not been officially disclosed yet. Based on the China pricing of the Z11 Turbo, expectations place the iQOO 15R in the ₹40,000 to ₹45,000 range in India. That positions it directly against phones like the OnePlus 15R.
