TL; DR
  • iQOO has started teasing the iQOO 15R for India, with a February 2026 launch window.
  • The phone is expected to be a rebranded iQOO Z11 Turbo, with one India-only tiled pattern colour.
  • Pricing could go higher than expected, potentially touching ₹48,000, similar to the OnePlus 15R positioning.

iQOO has officially begun teasing the iQOO 15R for the Indian market, confirming that the phone is coming sometime in late January or February 2026. Based on everything that has surfaced so far, this seems to be a straight rebrand of the iQOO Z11 Turbo that launched in China earlier this month.

The first teaser is design-focused. iQOO is highlighting an India-exclusive colour option with a tiled, geometric pattern on the back. This finish does not exist on the Chinese model, which sticks to different colours. The tiled pattern is clearly meant to be the visual hook for the Indian launch.

On the hardware side, there are no real surprises expected. The iQOO 15R is likely to carry over the same core specifications as the Z11 Turbo, including a 6.59-inch flat 1.5K LTPS OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. The camera setup should remain unchanged as well, with a 200 MP main sensor with OIS, paired with an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and a 32 MP front camera.

Battery capacity is another key carryover. The device is expected to ship with a large 7,600 mAh battery and support 100 W wired fast charging. Build details also point to a metal frame, glass back, IP68 and IP69 ratings, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

While the Z11 Turbo starts at around CNY 2,399 in China, India pricing may not track that closely. Memory hikes and import taxes suggest the iQOO 15R could climb much higher, potentially going up to around ₹48,000, similar to how the existing OnePlus 15R is positioned.
