iQOO has launched the iQOO Neo 7 Pro 5G in India today. The smartphone comes with a unique design and top-of-the-line specs and is priced under 40k in the country. iQOO claims that the newest Pro smartphone will provide an even better gaming experience as it comes with an independent gaming chipset. It starts at Rs. 34,999 which makes it a direct competitor of the OnePlus 11R. Launched in February this year, the OnePlus 11R is also powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and runs Android 13 OS. OnePlus 11R starts at Rs. 39,999 in the country and comes with premium-grade specs as well.

iQOO Neo 7 Pro Vs OnePlus 11R: Design

iQOO Neo 7 Pro comes in 2 finishes and color options. The Fearless Flame variant has a Faux Leather finish while the Dark Storm color comes with AG Glass back. The glass back variant weighs 200 grams while the leather finish one weighs 194.5 grams.

Coming to OnePlus 11R comes in Sonic Black and Galactic Silver shades. It looks similar to the flagship OnePlus 11 device and features a curved display with flat edges at the top and bottom.  

Result- Design is more about the consumer’s personal preference. You should buy whichever you like more.

iQOO Neo 7 Pro Vs OnePlus 11R: Display

The iQOO Neo 7 Pro 5G sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel and has a 2400×1080 pixel resolution. It comes with HDR10+ support and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone has a 360Hz touch sampling rate and 1.07 billion colors along with 1500 nits peak brightness.

OnePlus 11R has a 6.74-inch AMOLED panel with a 2772×1240 pixel resolution. It has an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, HDR10+, and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The smartphone comes with 1450 nits peak brightness.

Result- Although both have AMOLED displays, iQOO Neo 7 Pro’s panel has an edge as it is bigger in size, and has a higher peak brightness level.

iQOO Neo 7 Pro comes in 2 storage variants- 8GB RAM+128GB storage, and 12GB RAM+256GB storage. The OnePlus 11R also comes in 2 storage configurations- 12GB RAM+ 256GB storage and 16GB RAM+512GB storage.

Result- OnePlus 11R has more RAM and storage, so it is better.

Both iQOO Neo 7 Pro and OnePlus 11R are powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, but while the former has up to 12GB RAM, the latter has 16GB RAM. Both the devices run Android 13 OS with custom UI on top. OnePlus 11R will get 3 Android updates (Android 14, 15, and 16) while iqoo Neo 7 Pro will get 2 Android updates (Android 14 and 15).

Result- Both are almost equal.

Both these smartphones have exactly the same camera setup at the back. The triple camera setup includes a 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens. At the front as well, both these devices have a 16MP selfie lens.

Pricing is one of the most important factors when buying a smartphone. The newly launched iQOO Neo 7 Pro is priced at Rs. 34,999 for the 8GB/128GB and Rs. 37,999 for the 12GB/256GB storage model. OnePlus 11R starts at Rs. 39,999 for the 12GB/256GB and Rs. 44,999 for the 16GB/512GB storage variant.

Result- If you want more RAM and storage, you can opt for OnePlus 11R although it does cost 5000 higher than iQOO Neo 7 Pro.

Although both these smartphones offer premium specs at an aggressive pricing of under 45,000, some features make iQOO Neo 7 Pro a better device while some make OnePlus 11R a better fit. iQOO Neo 7 Pro has a bigger display size and faster charging speeds, while OnePlus 11R offers more RAM and onboard storage. The chipset and camera setup are the same and the design for both devices is premium. In terms of pricing, OnePlus 11R costs more as it offers more storage and RAM.
