While January 2024 is loaded with new smartphone releases, there is one brand that has confirmed things a month in advance. Vivo’s sub-brand iqoo has confirmed the launch of iQOO Neo 9 Pro in India in February 2024.

The official X (formerly Twitter) handle of iQOO has shared a post that confirms the arrival of iQOO Neo 9 Pro in India next month. The brand has claimed it to be the peak of performance and design redefining possibilities. Here are the posts confirming the launch.

iQOO Neo 9 Series

iQOO launched the iQOO Neo 9 Series in China in December 2023. It included the iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro. Reports claim that iQOO will bring only the Pro model to India and it will give tough competition to the Poco X6 and OnePlus 12R. Since it has already been launched in China, we know what iQOO Neo 9 Pro will look like.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro: Expected India Specs

In India, iQOO Neo 9 Pro is expected to have a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It will most likely be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB onboard storage. The device will feature an Adreno 740 GPU.

The smartphone will run Android 14 with Origin OS 4.0 and is expected to pack a 5160mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support. At the back will be a triple camera setup with a 50MP main, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. At the front will be a 16MP selfie snapper. At the same time, the additional features include a Q1 dedicated chip, 6k canopy VC cooling system, in-display fingerprint sensor, 5G connectivity, NFC, IR blaster, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, and more.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro: Price

In China, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro starts at RMB 2999 (approx. Rs. 36,100) for the 12GB RAM+256GB storage model. In India, it might be priced under Rs. 35,000 to compete with another mid-range device. iQOO might not launch the 512GB and 1TB models in the country and stick to the 256GB version only.

iQOO might also launch the iQOO Watch and iqoo TWS 1e in India alongside the iQOO Neo 9 Pro in February.
