TL; DR
  • OnePlus launched the Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro in China on October 29, with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-series chips, 9000mAh batteries, dual-airflow cooling fans and a shared 1/1.56-inch main camera.
  • The Ace 7 Pro adds a 50MP 3.5X periscope telephoto camera with an f/2.8 aperture and 80mm focal length, the same unit used on the OnePlus 15. The standard Ace 7 gets an 8MP ultrawide instead.
  • Chinese pricing starts at ¥4,399 for the Ace 7 and ¥4,799 for the Ace 7 Pro. India could get a version of the Pro as the OnePlus 16R, with an expected price of ₹70,000–₹80,000.

OnePlus launched the Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro in China on October 29. Both phones pack 9000mAh batteries, 100W charging and dual-airflow cooling fans that cool the chipset and rear panel separately. This is the first OnePlus phone series to feature built-in cooling fans.

OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro Specifications

The standard Ace 7 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series, while the Ace 7 Pro uses the full Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Both feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED panel from BOE, with a default refresh rate of 165Hz and support for up to 185Hz in compatible games. The display matches the panel used on the OnePlus 16, with global peak brightness reaching 2,000 nits.

OnePlus Ace 7 Series Camera Specifications

Both phones share a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 23mm focal length and OIS. The standard Ace 7 pairs it with an 8MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, 16mm focal length and a 112-degree field of view.

The Ace 7 Pro replaces the ultrawide with a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with an f/2.8 aperture, an 80mm focal length, 3.5X optical zoom and OIS. It uses the same telephoto unit as the OnePlus 15. Both models also have a 16MP front camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a 23mm focal length.

Gaming Features and Software

OnePlus has equipped the Ace 7 series with several dedicated gaming components, including the Wind-Chaser gaming engine, Super Display Chip P4, Lingxi Touch Chip T3 and E-sports Network Chip G3.

Despite the cooling fans, the Ace 7 Series carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. The Ace 7 Pro also gets 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanning. Both phones run ColorOS 17.

OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro Price in China

The OnePlus Ace 7 starts at ¥4,399 (₹62,000 approx.) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The Ace 7 Pro starts at ¥4,799 (₹67,000 approx.) for the same configuration. Local subsidies bring the effective prices down further, with sales scheduled to begin on November 3.

OnePlus Ace 7 Pro Could Launch in India as the OnePlus 16R

The Ace series usually stays exclusive to China, but the Ace 7 Pro could make its way to India under a different name.

The OnePlus 16 launched earlier this month with the higher-end Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and remains China-only so far. Multiple reports suggest the Ace 7 Pro could arrive in India as the OnePlus 16R, with tipsters estimating a price of ₹70,000–₹80,000.

Earlier leaks about the OnePlus 16R mentioned a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a large main camera, a 3.5X telephoto camera, a 9000mAh battery and an 185Hz display. Those specifications match the Ace 7 Pro on paper, although OnePlus hasn’t confirmed any India launch plans yet.
