iQoo Neo 9s Pro+ With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC And Up To 1TB Of Storage Launched In China

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer iQoo has launched a new flagship-tier model in its native market. Dubbed iQoo Neo 9s Pro+, the smartphone features high-end specifications, such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 1.5K AMOLED screen, and a 5,500 mAh battery. iQoo Neo 9s Pro+ Specifications

Out of the box, the iQoo Neo 9s Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen that supports a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,400 nits. The display also supports 2160Hz PWM dimming and HDR10+ content. Under the hood, the handset runs on the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC (Adreno 750 GPU) paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Regarding optics, the Neo 9s Pro+ sports the 50MP (f/1.9, OIS) Sony IMX921 VCS primary sensor and a 50MP (f/2.0, 119-degree) Samsung S5KJN1 ultrawide camera. With the primary sensor, the phone can record 8K videos. On the front, users get a 16MP (f/2.5) that can record 1080p videos at 30 fps.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v5.4, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and a USB-C port. Powering the handset is a 5,500 mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging, which can charge up the phone from zero to 100% in less than 30 minutes.

Additional features on the iQoo Neo 9s Pro+ include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, optical face unlock, stereo speakers with Snapdragon Sound, support for apt-X HD/apt-X Adaptive, and LHDC codecs. The smartphone ships with OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 and sports GenAI features like screen recognition, meeting record assistant, etc.

iQoo Neo 9s Pro+ Price

Unlike in India, iQoo releases many more RAM and storage combinations of its smartphones in China. The iQoo Neo 9s Pro+ comes in five different configurations mentioned below.

  • iQoo Neo 9s Pro (12/256GB) costs RMB 2,999, which is about Rs. 34,500.
  • iQoo Neo 9s Pro (12/512GB) costs RMB 3,399, which is about Rs. 40,000.
  • iQoo Neo 9s Pro (16/256GB) costs RMB 3,299, which is about Rs. 38,000.
  • iQoo Neo 9s Pro (16/512GB) costs RMB 3,699, which is about Rs. 43,000.  
  • iQoo Neo 9s Pro (16/1TB) costs RMB 4,099, which is about Rs. 47,000.

The smartphone will be available to purchase in China starting July 16, 2024.
