Well, here, our answer is no. You can get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor in devices like Moto Edge 30, which is available for Rs 27,999. Furthermore, brands like iQOO and Realme are offering devices, iQOO Neo 6 5G and Realme GT Neo 2 5G, with Snapdragon 870 SoC at a similar price as Nothing Phone (1), which is a significant drawback.
Not that powerful charging support
This emerges out as a major concern for the Nothing Phone (1). In the era where Nord series phones under Rs 30,000 offer around 80W fast charging like the OnePlus Nord 2T, Nothing has started its journey with a 33W fast charging support.
No charger in the box
Now, this can be said the be the most impactful turnoff. The Nothing Phone (1) doesn’t have a charger in the box. It seems they got inspired by Apple in the wrong direction.
So if you are planning to buy this device, you have to buy the Nothing adapter individually, which is available at a price of Rs 1,499 in the Indian market via Flipkart. Now, if we will see the whole scenario logically, then the cost of the base variant with 8GB RAM will be Rs 33,498.
