How can Kyunki Season 2 revive Indian TV?

When it aired 25 years ago, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was not just a show; it was mom’s stress buster, dad’s nighttime ritual, and entire family’s get-together time. With the reboot now airing on TV, 17 years after it ended, the show aims to bring the same family TV Time back. In the middle of today’s overtly modern and westernized storytelling, Kyunki will give the Indian audience a chance to return to their roots. The experiment is important for various reasons.

  • It might have the power to shape future generations, instilling family values in them.
  • Indian TV has lost its middle-class soul, which the show might bring back with its simplicity.
