Lava expected to unveil its 1st 5G smartphone on November 9 in India

Lava, the Indian mobile brand is all set to enter the affordable 5G market with a new smartphone christened Lava Agni 5G in India. Some sources have revealed that Lava Agni 5G will launch post-Diwali, on November 9 in India. Lava itself confirmed the date of launch as its official page went live with this message.

Lava Agni 5G was first spotted with model number LF3401 in the BIS Certification Listings.

Some specs have been revealed by an official product page which was later taken down. Tipsters Abhishek Yadav and Shubham Dutt who spotted the page on Lava’s website claim that the Agni 5G has adopted a modern design, which is very different from all its earlier smartphones. It has a 90Hz refresh rate with thin bezels and a punch-hole at the top, placed symmetrically. The phone is expected to have a 64MP primary camera paired with 2 other lenses, details of which are still unknown.

Lava Agni 5G is likely to pack a 5000mAh battery and could be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset with 4/6GB RAM and expandable storage. The smartphone would have some pre-installed apps and could be running on Android 11. It is expected to have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a single bottom-firing speaker.

From what has been spotted on Lava’s official page, the price for their first 5G smartphone is Rs. 19,999. Anyways, mark your calendars for its launch event on November 9.
