Mobile World Congress 2023 is officially on and leading laptop maker Lenovo is also pulling out all the stops as the brand has showcased a laptop that is made of ‘Food’. Yes, you heard it right, Lenovo has launched a laptop made of edible material and it works. Moreover, it has also shown off laptops in Z, X, T, E, and L series along with a ThinkCentre TIO mini desktop and more.
Lenovo Flaxseed Fibre Laptop: ThinkPad Z13
First of all, let us talk about the laptop made of edible item. The Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 has a food-derived display lid cover. It uses a wood-like finish for the top and its display lid. This has been made using flaxseed fiber and makes each top unique to each individual laptop. Lenovo also aims to replace the outer plastic packaging with bamboo fiber bags and paper-based molds as part of its green initiatives.
The ThinkPad Z13 and Z16 are now aimed at business users and come equipped with AMD Ryzen 7000 processors. The ThinkPad Z16 doesn’t have a flaxseed top.
Lenovo ThinkPad X & T Series
The Lenovo ThinkPad X lineup 4th generation of laptops comes as ThinkPad X13 and ThinkPad X13 Yoga. These come in 2-in-1 form factors. While the ThinkPad X13 series is powered by AMD CPUs, the Yoga gets Intel-sourced chipsets.
Coming to the ThinkPad T Series, the brand has unveiled ThinkPad T14, ThinkPad T14s, and ThinkPad T16 business-oriented laptops that are being called workhorses. These are powered by 3rd gen Intel processors or AMD Ryzen 7000 series chipsets.
Lenovo ThinkPad L & E Series
The brand has showcased ThinkPad L Series which includes ThinkPad L13, L13 Yoga, L14 Yoga, L15, and L15 Yoga. These are consumer-centric laptops packing the latest intel or AMD CPUs for high performance.
ThinkPad E Series consists of ThinkPad E14 and E16 laptops meant for those who need a high-resolution display. These laptops have up to WQXGA IPS panels and are powered by Intel/AMD processors.
Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook
The new Chromebook from Lenovo is called IdeaPad 3 Slim and is now in its 8th generation. The device has been upgraded and now has a brighter display, a larger 47Wh battery, a new 5MP webcam with a privacy shutter, top-firing speakers, and WiFi 6 support. It comes in Cloud Gray and Abyss Blue colors.
There is a new IdeaPad Duet 3i model that is a portable model ideal for students and others who want a detachable keyboard.
Other New Lenovo Products
Lenovo has launched a new mini desktop called the ThinkCentre TIO (generation 5). The device is available in 21.5-inch or 23.8-inch display sizes with 16:9 aspect ratios and optional touchscreen support.
