Lenovo has turned the tables and became the first company to launch a smartphone with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 chipset and 12GB RAM. Lenovo has been largely passive the last few months with no major phone launches under its own brand. It mostly relied on Moto branding for bringing its new mobiles but now Lenovo is back to revive their own line of Lenovo smartphones with Lenovo Z5s, Lenovo Z5 Pro and Lenovo Z5 Pro GT.
Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Features
The Lenovo Z5 Pro flaunts a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED full-screen display with 95.06% screen-to-body ratio. This phone employs a slider design to house the front-facing shooters and sensors. The major selling point of this phone is that it is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 processor and packs a RAM of 12GB. It is the first phone in the world to employ either of these things. The 12GB RAM GT variant is compounded with storage of 512GB. The basic variant has slightly lower-end specifications of 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
This phone features a dual camera setup on the rear comprising of Sony IMX576 24MP primary sensor and IMX519 16MP shooter. On the front, we have a 16MP selfie camera accompanied by an 8MP Infrared camera.
This phone runs on Android Oreo-based ZUI 10 and features an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone houses a meagre 3350 mAh battery with 38W fast charging support.
Lenovo Z5s Features
The company has also brought their new mid-range segment contender Lenovo Z5s with 6.3-inch FHD+ display and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. This phone features a small waterdrop notch for accommodating the front-facing camera. This phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset coupled with a RAM of either 4GB/6GB. The mobile has an internal storage capacity of either 64GB/128GB which can be expanded up to 256GB with an external memory card.

Surprisingly, this lower end variant features a triple camera setup consisting of a 16MP wide angle lens, an 8MP telephoto lens, and 5MP portrait shooter. On the front, we have a 16MP selfie shooter.
This phone runs on the latest Android Pie based ZUI 10 and packs a scanty 3300 mAh battery which supports 15W fast charging.
